Sentari VR's Mission:

To fuse the physical and digital world into powerful mixed-reality experiences that make training and education safer, easier, cheaper, and more effective—across the defense, education, and industry sectors.

Our Story

Sentari VR was born from a shared frustration with how we train for high-stakes situations.

In high-stakes environments—whether in the military, medical field, or industrial settings—training often comes at a steep cost. Travel, equipment, instructors, scheduling, and safety risks all compound to make effective preparation expensive and difficult. Worse, the systems we rely on are complex, slow to adapt, and stuck in outdated models: PowerPoint lectures, rubber mannequins, or massive, immobile simulation centers.

We knew there had to be a better way.

Forrest, a U.S. Naval Academy computer science graduate and active-duty naval officer, holds dual master’s degrees in Applied Design for Innovation and Space Systems Operations. He realized that software was no longer the bottleneck in building effective VR training. The real limitation had been hardware. With the release of the Meta Quest 3, powerful mixed reality could finally be brought to life—untethered, affordable, and accessible.

Daniel, a board-certified physician anesthesiologist who trained at the Mayo Clinic, saw firsthand how critical hands-on medical training is—and how limited traditional methods can be. The medical community needed safer, more flexible ways to practice under pressure.

Rafa, a fellow U.S. Naval Academy graduate with a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA from William & Mary, came from the world of defense consulting. When he encountered VR and MR, he immediately saw the potential for immersive training across a range of operational and industrial settings—beyond just gaming or gimmicks.

Together, we launched Sentari VR Systems to bring that vision to life.

We build mission-ready VR and MR training solutions that are cheap, safe, scalable, and endlessly repeatable. Whether you're treating a high-stakes trauma patient, training with a weapon system, or teaching physics—Sentari makes it possible to train and learn optimally.
